The US is the largest wine-consuming market in the world and, as a consequence, all segments of our service industry – hotels, restaurants, catering facilities, corporate gatherings and private entertainment – need knowledgeable people to successfully sell their wine and food products.
At the same time the general public has become increasingly interested in food and wine pairing, raising the need for education to even higher levels.
We recognize that need: a well-educated waiter, sommelier or retail wine store worker sells more and generates higher profits for a company.
Our mission is to educate industry professionals as well as the general public, introduce promising indigenous grapes, promote up-and-coming wine-producing regions and conduct marketing research.
